Moultrie T.'s Story
Life
I retired from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel with over 25 years of honorable service and was honored to be awarded the Legion of Merit for my service to this nation. Prior to retirement, I served as the National Military Command Center (NMCC) Mentor for the Afghanistan National Army (ANA) where my contributions laid the foundation for developing a futures-oriented Command Center that synchronizes, organizes, and directs the execution of military operations based on national objectives ensuring continuous connectivity with all ANA units. For my efforts in Afghanistan, I was awarded the Bronze Star which I am very proud of.

The AEMP is the Army's comprehensive program for preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery on Army installations and facilities to reduce the loss of life and property and to protect the Army from all hazards including Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High-Yield Explosive (CBRNE) incidents.
All that said, I am enjoying retirement and this new chapter in my life! I enjoy wearing suits and looking very professional and sharp every day! For now, I am residing in Fredericksburg, VA but who knows where I will finally retire the second time around! I intend to continue to give back to the community through my selfess service because I have indeed been blessed! Life is good and I cannot complain! I hope that all of my classmates, friends and their families are doing well and I wish all of you the very best! Would love to hear from you!
